I am celebrating a year of Gluten-Free in the Shaolin. Yep. My blog is a year old! It was in January 2008, that I went gluten-free. Then, in the end of March 2008, I started this blog to help me cope with being gluten-free and cook. And has time gone by fast!

  • Breadsticks;
  • Two different types of sauces; and
  • Assorted pastries & cookies

To enter,

  • Leave a comment ON THIS POST telling me why you want to win and whether you are gluten-free or not (If you are not gluten-free, I will get you the regular, gluteny pasta). Anonymous comments must be signed with your first name and last initial so I can contact you if you win.-You have until MIDNIGHT EST on March 31st to enter this giveaway.
  • One randomly chosen winner will be announced by midnight EST on April 1st .

Extra Entries:

Additional entries can be earned by doing any of the following, giving you up to 5 total entries. Leave a separate comment for each of these items.

Hey there! I've discovered your blog through Trav's Gone Gluten Free (and your post about spinach ravioli has me searching for gluten-free ravioli recipes to try sometime in the coming months). It also makes me want to visit NY (I used to live upstate) to try out all the tasty tasty looking products bakeries/restaurants create out there...

I'd like to enter the giveaway. And why do I want to win? I was diagnosed gluten-intolerant (/possibly celiac, but haven't had the blood test yet) in mid-January, and am still exploring all the gluten-free options and products available to me, so trying out some new pasta, sauces, etc. would be pretty awesome.

Thanks! Keep up the awesome blogging!

Andrea H.

Happy birthday! No fair, I'm already following you on twitter! I'd love to try out some new pastas, I usually stick with the 79cents from the Asian grocery store kind. Congrats on a year gluten-free!

I am not gluten-free, but I have been considering adopting this lifestyle for a while. It's difficult to convince myself that I really want to try gluten-free pasta when I'm staring at a package of cookies that I really want to eat. It'd be awesome to have something to try to get me over that first hurdle.

Congrats on your birthday and your blogiversary. I am not a great cook, but doing Cookerati has helped me to become better and expand my horizons. So I can see how doing Gluten Free in the Shaolin can inspire you. I'm from Ohio, but I grew up in Queens, which is another reason I enjoy your posts.

Geez, just add this on to my last one, because I hit the send too fast. I would love to win because I like trying out stuff (and I like winning stuff too). I'm not gluten free, but I would be willing to have either, or a combination. Good luck with all your Gluten Free Adventures.

Happy Birthday and huge congratulations to you! I'm not gluten free but have noticed that when I avoid "white things" in my diet, I keep a trimmer figure :) So if I win, the basket will cherished - we will use it for those special meals where we break the rules.
